Capital One Spark Miles credit card review!

This is the premium business miles credit card offered by Capital One!

Annual Fee: $0 for the first year, $95 afterward

What type of earning do I get?

2x miles on all purchases with no limit.

TSA Precheck or Global Entry

·This one is pretty standard among premium credit cards. Every 4 years, you can get a $100 credit for Global Entry or $85 every 4.5 years for TSA Precheck. I would suggest going with Global Entry as it offers TSA Precheck as well and faster immigration when you travel internationally. Plus, you get an extra $15 of value with Global Entry when compared to TSA Precheck.

This is a no-fee credit card for the first year, but in reality, it still has a $95 annual fee from the second year onward. Most Capital One transfer partners accept miles on a 2:1.5 ratio. So essentially, for every dollar spent, you are earning 1.5 miles on most of Capital One’s transfer partners. That makes this card on par with the American Express Business Platinum for transactions over $5,000. In some sense, it is better at there is no transaction minimum. The problem comes with Capital One’s partners. As they aren’t partnered with any major US airline, it can be a hassle to book domestic travel. They also have a lot more partners for Star Alliance redemptions so you may be closing yourself off to amazing products offered by SkyTeam and Oneworld. Other than that, this is an competitive offering by Capital One!
